Found this site a bit ago and figured that I should post an intro. I am almost seeing the light on a rebuild (not restro) of my 80 L82. To date I have stroked the L82 to 383, added an aluminum rad with dual spals, 135 amp alternator, Stewart stage 2 H2O pump, Patriot 190/64cc aluminum heads 1:6 roller rockers, Performance Products cyclone intake and a rebuilt by Lars Edlebrock 1904 Q-Jet, Hooker sidepipe headers into sidepipes with Max flow mufflers and Steel Shields,As far as suspension I replaced the front and rear suspension with a VB&P monospring in the front and a 330# fiberglass spring in the rear, Installed new O ring calipers, drilled and slotted rotors and a hydro boost system. I am waiting to install a custom red on oyster interior with a 165 MPH Speedo Future project include a 200r4 install, upgrade the original stereo and an fill up an empty bank account
